Promoting reading for pleasure
We are now faced with a society in which reading for pleasure is in heavy competition with Television ,computer games, ipads ,ipods videos and DVDs.

At the same time, Literacy skills have never been more important as our society becomes more sophisticated and higher education a much sought after outcome.

How do we compete?

We promote reading as vigorously as possible as early as possible by reading to your child from birth! We also set the example by setting some time aside to read for pleasure ourselves. This lets your child see you valuing reading for fun as well.

Stay at home or go to work …what are the choices?
